We’ve been helping a lot of ecommerce companies with their customer care before and during the pandemic and we’ve seen a sudden spike in volume. In the words of a big brand we’ve been working with, this past month for them has been their “best ever”.

So, we dug into some data, combined it with some data from the US Department of Commerce and saw something absolutely remarkable. Even going by our very conservative estimates, ecommerce is all set to completely demolish brick and mortar sales at least 5 years earlier than expected.

We might see the golden age of the digital economy within the next 10-15 years.

Markets are getting disrupted right now and the virtual world might soon become bigger than the real world. Overall, volume has increased by quite a bit for ecommerce stores across all industries. Even the older generations are being forced to go digital by the pandemic.

Opportunities are opening up everywhere, and now is the time to invest in growth.
