The EU AI Act Guide for IT and Finance Leaders | Timextender
For IT leaders and finance leaders navigating the EU AI Act
Report
The Deadline Moved. The Exposure Didn't. High-risk obligations now run to December 2027. Article 50 disclosure, and the data questions underneath all of it, have applied since August. The guide's diagnostic, AR² (the AI-Readiness Architecture Review), scores your foundation across eight pillars and returns one of four bands: Foundational, Emerging, Maturing, or AI-ready. Most organisations land in Foundational or Emerging. Against a December 2027 deadline, that's comfortable, provided the work starts now as a plan and not later as a scramble. The output isn't a score to frame. It's a gap list, in order, that turns "are we ready?" into something you can brief upward on Monday.
